When moving to a new home with an existing outdoor pool, the owners in Uckfield, UK, quickly realised that the old canvas cover wasn’t suitable for regular use. Installation took place at the end of October 2024, and the transformation was immediate. Although temperatures didn’t allow for swimming in late autumn, the greenhouse effect of the Imperia NEO enclosure began to show real benefits by early spring. With no external heating, the pool temperature rose from 16 °C in late March to 29 °C by mid-summer.

“The installation was very efficient and completed in one day... We have been swimming every day from the end of March until now (mid-September) and expect to do so until the end of the month – 6 months in total.”

What truly impressed the client was the convenience of the integrated hatch on the Imperia NEO. It allowed easy daily access without the need to slide open the enclosure sections, though that function remains simple when needed. Keeping the pool covered all the time meant virtually no debris, less cleaning, and consistently inviting water, regardless of outside weather.
